Your details should work for you, not against you.
We only ask for information that helps students discover rooms, understand fit, and connect with care. Public profiles use your first name and last-name initial.
Public by choice
Your phone number and private contact details are never shown on a listing page.
Clear handoff
Contact begins after sign-in, profile completion, and phone confirmation, then continues on WhatsApp.
Product analytics
We use first-party, pseudonymous browser identifiers to understand aggregate discovery, listing, and contact activity. The identifier lasts up to 30 days, and raw analytics events are retained for 90 days. We do not use cross-site tracking or store search text, full page URLs, or contact details in analytics. An authorized handoff or WhatsApp link open does not tell us whether a conversation took place.
Feedback stays private
Feedback may be submitted without signing in. Submissions are visible to administrators, and a notification containing the feedback is queued to the Campus Roomies team. If you provide an email for a reply, it is retained with the submission until review; reviewed feedback is scheduled for deletion after the configured retention period.
